What kind of times do you guys run out at the strip?

track sucks here
with just my cammed ls6 6 speed i ran 7.5 at 100

I ran an 8 at 86. The tune was'nt worth a shit and it was pulling timing like a hoe.

Pretty damn respectable, is that your best to date, what kind of rides?

Yea then the car starting failing mechanically. It was on a 91 Gsx, I have of a vid of it on facebook.

Vette I assume your 60' sucked since you had 100mph.

hard to find the sweet spot with the 6 speed, but all this was 500 hp ago so it should run pretty good now even with a crap 60ft

im running 315/45/16 MT Drag Radials now, usually rev to about 4500 and let it rip unless im pissed then ill go to 6000 lol

yup, back then was a 295/45/17 MT Drag radial
even on my stock rims i have 305/35/18 MT lol

Man I found out the hardway not to run the Nitto drag radials, my car hates them. I dont know if they need to be broke in before they will start to work. I've been running the MT with out any issues, well that is most of the time. My best 60' with the Nittos was a 1.85. Vette have been to the track with your current set up? Nice time Ligo.

Best time here at WRP.....6.1 with a 1.58 60'. Had the juice turned WAAAAAY down to get the 275/60/15 DR's to stick. The car has cut a 1.29 60' on these same tires.

No issues man. I'll be out there on a regular basis....especially when I get the car set up for out here. I think I am gonna end up running the Super Pro class once I get a box in the car. I'm not a big fan of bracket racing, but I'm here for at least 4 years, and if that's all they have I'll take it. I've also got some 28x14.50 Hoosiers coming this way so I can turn the juice back up a little bit. I'll see you around I'm sure.

well as far as i know the track here is a pretty good test track. i have pulled some nice 60ft here on a 28x10.5 tire. 1.22 60fts. 3400lb car.


i tune a street car last weekend he pulled 1.42 60ft in the heat. 1.35 all nite.

it does suck that they won't work on the track for radials. bout wrecked mine one nite testing on goodyears here.
