Describe a street car in here

Tell us what u think is a street car?

i believe a street car has to be registered and tagged, and can drive a pretty good distance. without over heating, filling up, etc.

well the Vega is a street car and it only gets about 50 miles to the tank, doesn't have most of the interior, and is reg and inspected (on the D.L). Street car is a car the is legal to drive on the street. Right?

If you have tags and insurance its a street car.

Race Car: No power steering, no overdrive trans, no power brakes, no air conditioning ? sound like a race car? It also sounds alot like a 1970 Mustang I used to own. It came from the factory that way and also had a inline 200 cid six banger. All the time I had it I thought it was just a slow daily driver. SHHEEESH, I had no idea I had a factory prepped race car?



Bottom line just go to Books A Million or Amazon and buy the book on street racing rules and post them for us so we can see the error of our ways and we can fix decades of "doing it wrong"

A street car is one your mom can and would drive. A street/strip car falls into the cracks of everyones in-depth personal interpretations.

Sure, u can not carry passengers, just not have ac or heat, just not drive in rain, just not have room in the trunk, just not have a radio, just not listen to the ear deffening exhaust, just not give it full throttle, just not notice the constant vibration, just not be concerned with no interior, just not worry about the cage bars inches from your head, just be a little uncomfortable in your non-adjustable race seat, just ease into the throttle at lights with your 5000 rpm stall, you get the idea... It boils down to each individual what they want to put up with.
